I presume there is a reason why the color of the Gizmo axes never correspodn of the color of the axes in the Proreties tab, but can someone enlight me how to guess which one is which w/o the need to test every axis with 50% chance for the color and 25% chane for the direction (I mean only 50%/25% as the matching axis never match so I can test it at the last). And it is the same with both the translations and the rotations.

  • Check the coordinate system being used, in the Tool Settings pane.

I see, thanks. The Properties tab coordinates match the World coordinates, right?

  • The numbers are the local values.

  • The numbers are the local values.

So the world coordinates starts from 0,0,0; the local coordinates are the coordinates where the item was created/merged/imported and for newly created stuff w/o fixed point of creation the local coordinates should be 0,0,0 too?

  • The values are the current state, yes - if the bone/item hasn't been rotated or translated itself they will be zero (whether the mesh is at its default position will of course depend on what its parents, if it has any, are set to).

  • Is there a way to make the Transform sliders move and rotate the selected figure not only according to the world coordinates, but for example the along the local coordinates etc?

  • No, the sliders are always workng in local space.
