Whites of eyes turn black in render
I have some characters from Most Digital Creations. They render pretty well, except that the whites of the eyes appear black. It's an iray render and the characters have iray materials. I haven't been able to find anything about this so far; can anyone suggest what the problem is and how to fix it? In the attached file, the pic on the left shows the face in the texture shaded view, the one on the right is the render. Even in the texture shaded view, the eyes don't really look right.

Typically it's because the toon is too far from 0,0,0 which is the center of the world. The issue seems inconsistent with regards to how far from the center and the like. As a test try this...
parent everything to the character then move the character to 0,0,0 and unparent. That "should" solve the issue. If not...I'm at a loss.
Does it go away if you change in the Render settings the Instancing Optimization to speed? I find this works pretty good with black eyes and hair poking out.
