"How to" needed

Ok. I am trying to transfer some V4 clothing. Ultimately it needs to go to G8F but i don't mind starting small.

When I load a G3F and select her in the parameters tab i click on hidden but no clones option appears. What am I missing?

I cant find my V4/G8F clone either, Just need to be pointed in the right direction please.

I did. Guess I'm having some operator error somewhere. i"ll uninstall and reinstall and see if that works. Thank you

All right, done but still cant find the clones anywhere. Only thing i found was the SY store link. Any other suggestions of where i may be going wrong?

There is nothing you will see in the content library or smart content, it is a few projection templates and shaping morphs that will be used for autofit, mostly. When you try to fit V4 clothing to G8, V4 will be one of the available sources when it asks what figure the item was originally designed for.

Thats one of the things I thought at first but after the install it still doesn't give me the option to put the clothing on my characters. 

Also reading the "Read Me" file it says you can look under the hidden tab for the model and you would see "clones" added there. Didn't see this, is it an older version that showed this?

i"m in the process of making a quick render to show what i am working with and then we can go from there.

There is a clone slider, but it is normally hidden (right-click the Parameters tab, Show Hidden Properties, look under Hidden, Clones). All it will do is make G8F look like V4, but it will not make the clothes fit any better. The clones move the G8 mesh to match the shape of the V4 mesh, but it is still a G8 mesh, and that is what the clothing needs to conform to when loading.

O, Ok. That is a better explanation than the "read me" book

Still cant put the clothing on my G3 or G8 characters though..

If you drag and drop, or otherwise attempt to load, any V4 clothing item onto a Genesis 8 Female base figure, you should get the drop-down list as shown in the attachment. This assumes you have installed SY Victoria 4 and Michael 4 Clones for Genesis 8.

Genesis 3 needs a different product to get the V4 and M4 clones, Wear Them All - Autofitting Clones and Clothing Smoothers for Genesis 3 Female(s) and Wear Them All - Autofitting Clones and Clothing Smoothers for Genesis 3 Male(s), respectively. They also give clones for G2 and Genesis, with a few new tools.
