Disable content preview?

When I look through Smart Content there are large boxes that appear when hovering too long over selections.
This can be helpful when you want to look closer at something, but I find mostly it gets in the way when your trying to look through content. It even overlaps the main viewport.
I looked through Preferences and could not find a way to turn this off. I don't think they are tooltips, but maybe they are?
I don't want to disable all tooltips, just these annoying pop up boxes.
Is there any way to do that?

I do not know if there is a way to disable those.
But I am not really sure I understand your problem. Why do you hoover your mouse over the icons?
I just scroll through the content using the sidebars.
I guess it's me, but when I scroll using the sidebar my mouse pointer invariably moves over one of the panes and then a larger pane pops up.
Guess I need a steadier hand, but I find these popups really annoying when you are trying to decide what to use. It would be nice if there was a way to disable this feature.
If your mouse have a wheel, you can set your cursor over the sidebar, and then just use the wheel to scroll up and down. That way you don't have to move your mouse and therefor no risk of interfering with the icons.
I know what you mean. Problem is the sidebar is so thin it's easy with slight movement of mouse to accidently move off.
I'll try a steadier hand and see if it helps. Not a huge issue, just frustrating.
