Stable Nvidia Driver(?) *SOLVED*
Hi all,
I'm running a GtX 1080TI and after the latest Windows 10 64 bit update I'm crashing all the time while DAZ studi stays opened. When DAZ is closed I don't crash with the latest driver installed. I am wondering if anyone out there with similar hardware and OS is experiencing crashing and if not, what is the driver version you're using, the crashing is making me go batty. Up until a week ago I was using nvidia driver version 419.67 with no troubles. Then the update happened and I ended up seeing a couple of crashes. I moved over to the latest driver 441.66 and now it's crashing if I let DAZ stay open for a little bit with no activity going on with Iray in viewport engaged.
Alternatively, is anyone using the public development version of DAZ and finding calm cool stability with 1080TI after the latest windows update?

I'm using 441.66 and a 1080ti with no troubles.
You might want to use DDU to clean out your drivers and install 441.66 fresh. Windows uopdate is well known for trying to install old drivers. You could have a badly mangled driver. I also strongly recommend disabling windows update from installing any drivers.
Thanks Kenshaw,
After I wrote the post I ended up doing something a little different and did a clean install, not an overwrite, of 441.66. I have yet to open DAZ today but will in a bit once I get NYE stuff taken care of.
Crossed fingers...
Looks like the clean reinstall did it-
Yeah I had stopped windows from installing any more drivers a while back but I was manually downloading drivers and not doing a clean install - I was overwriting each time. I left DAZ open for an hour while I went to Kroger's for NYE supplies and DAZ didn't crash my lil Bessie...
I'll chalk this up to 'Mangled Driver'
Happy New Year's everybody
