How to Decipher Log Errors when loading - G8F assets

In another thread I had asked how to track Daz 4.12 Loading errors.  I had a mixed of warning and duplicate errors... and my Base Genesis 8F load time was about 12 minutes.  I deleted D.Master's Auto Face Enhancer and drastically cut down on these errors, and reduced my G8F load time from 12 Minutes to 2.
***question-posted-earlier*** UPDATE - In the time it took to approve the post, I figured out my problem.  I was missing 3rd Party Expressions for Genesis 8 Male/Female. so that is solved.

So here is my next nut to crack

the Log says it can't find output property for formula:

lHeel:/data/DAZ%203D/Genesis%208/Female/Genesis8Female.dsf#lHeel?center_point/x in file : /data/DAZ%203D/Genesis%208/Female/Morphs/Angel%20-%20Wings/AWYM/Youth%20Face%20Elongation.dsf

When I search through the files, I see that both genesis8female.dsf  AND Youth Face Elongation.dsf are present.

How do I fix it if both files seem to be there?

Sadly that error is all to common with DS4 and the Genesis series of figures, most of the characters DAZ sell aren't "stand alone", they all have dependances, and if you don't have those dependances then errors like that is what you get.

All I have for G8F is the starter essentials, Vicky 8 and Monique 8, DAZ gave me both of those for free, with them installed any time I load G8F I have 24 errors just like the one you have, 12 from each character, the dependances they are looking for are the G8F head, body and expression morph packs.

Don't know this "Auto Face Enhancer" but I wouldn't be surprised to find it installed a bunch of "control dials" into the Morphs folder, and it was those dials looking for dependances you don't have that was causing all those errors and the extra long load times.

Same issue with these character convertors, if the G3F character your converting has missing dependances, then you add those errors to G8F when you convert it.

  • Those are not errors per se, they are notes (because they might indicate a bad name, which would be an error and would need fixing, or they might, as is usually the case, mean that the set of installed products includes corrective morphs linked to shapes that are not installed - in which case the corrective shapes are not needed).
