whiteish material for characters instead of skin

Hello all,

I have bought a set of poses ( Subtle Poses by Elele) which use a basic whiteish material instead of a skin, and I really like that a lot because it's much easier to pose lights and see their effects, to tweak poses etc.

Could anyone help me in the right direction how to create this?
I don't think it will be fifficult, but a hint or two would be most welome.

thanks for reading ad eventually replying !

Set the diffuse colour to a very light gray in the surface settings and remove any texture maps, specular bump or diffuse. The Daz Default shader should be more than ample for this. You can tweak the colour as needed if you want it brighter or darker.

    I'm shure this'll do it.

I guess DAZ by default adds a skin because most people prefer it that way. Which is, of course, ok. But for posing, lights, shadows etc and scene-creating, I prefer this off-white.

    thanks for answering!

If you then save the Material as a Material Preset you can reuse it.
