I like buying clothes but I am having issues with the clothes in different poses...in general...dresses and things trying to make them look good in positions other than standing....sitting or kneeling is the problem is there a way to know in advance if the clothes will conform to these positions...maybe something I am missing??? tutorials would be great at this point.....like this example of a coat

Dresses in particular, usually have posing handles, or a lot of different morphs, you could look for that?

Dresses can be difficult, and there is always the option of using D-Formers as well. Extreme poses will always give problems.

Is there any dress in particular that you are having a problem with?

    EDIT:

I just saw your posted image. The only easy way to get long clothing to sit correctly, is to use the Dynamic clothing in most cases, otherwise it can take a log of work. I don't know of any tutorials on Posing awkward clothing, but someone else may know.

    Using D-Formers ...
I have moved hems of skirts the way I want by using D-Forms.

For knowing beforehand: take a look at the storepage and read through the built-in morphs lists ...

There are many D-Former tutorials out there ... I don't know whether you prefer video or text/pictures (for me it is the second option - no videos if I can help it!):

I am mostly using morphs if clothes have them, but those products looks nice. I will have to check that dynamic clothing option and others that are there. Maybe i can do more with them.

There is quite a selection of freebie dynamic clothing (mostly for V4/M4) on the Optitex site...

    http://www.optitex-dynamiccloth.com/FreebieDownload01.php

And the 'basic' plugin for dynamic clothing will be enough to get started. Some of the differences are there are more controls (cloth weight, type, etc) on the paid plugin.

Also be aware that Often Auto fitting say V4 clothing to Genesis or Genesis 1 clothing to G2's will drop the posing BONES in some skirts and dresses. Then the Morphs are still there but they just do not work properly. That is when I will get out the Deformers or take the Time to use Sickleyields Auto Fit tool to keep the Bones the items need.
