Something funky with my library

The very first time I opened Daz my library looked normal (categorized and easily accessible). But as soon as I set an item into the scene, whether actor or environment or what have you, the whole library changed to show only the packages I have downloaded ( Genesis Starter Essentials, Female Starter Essentials, Victoria 5, etc...). When I click on a package it shows me EVERYTHING in that package, with no way to sort or organize or find what you are looking for. Not only that, but only some packages are still there. Most are missing after placing on object in the scene. Kinda driving me insane. Does anyone know what is going on?

Can you post a screenshot please, I'm not sure what you mean here.

Are you talking about the Content Library pane, or the Smart Content pane?

I am not with you here either? If it is Smart Content you are referring to, it will only display items for the Figure you have selected in the viewport.

It is the Smart Content pane.

It looks like your Content Management Service (CMS) may not be running. These packages appear in my Smart Content as well, but with many other ones too.

If you are on Windows, run the Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and look to see if the CMS is running as a process.

If not, you may need to restart it from Start > All Programs > DAZ 3D. If it continues to fail, there may be other actions necessary, but see if the above helps first.
