I have a suggestion could you please make DAZ 4.12 not crash all the friggin time. I just spent 45 minutes creating this scene and I went to go move a finger on one of my models and the whole thing crashed and now I have to start over. This is something that is happening all the time. My computer is brand new and I know its not me. I have been reading the forums and I see that this is something that is happening to a lot of people. PLEASE FIX YOUR SOFTWARE........................

Moved to Daz Studio Discussion since it isn't a Product Suggestion.
I don't wish to deny your frstration but these are not issues thata re affecting all, or most, users. The frequent complaints are about render performance. You machine may be new but that doesn't mean there are no configuration issues, or conflcits with security software or other utitlities. f this is a falt with DS then a lot more information (logs, crash reports if one was produced, systems details, what was in the scene) would be needed - and for Daz to review the issue it would need to be sent in via a support ticket, though it's a good diea to go through the issue heer in case someone can spot a way to resolve it immedately.
save, save, and save again .. save before you render.. save when you make some changes.

it still does if for me at times and has through 8 - 9 -10 and 11 also... just save lots.
Also, save iteratively as well as often(add 01, 02, 03 etc for each new save). It's par for the course in all 3D programs that I have used. Zbrush, maya, houdini, blender, they all can crash at any time.

Just wait till DS burns through all your ram and completely locks your system up, now that's fun.
As has been pointed out, save often.
Here's a plugin i've been using for years.

the "smart save increment" is a god send.
Put a short cut on it, i use CTRL+S, and after the first save it just adds an increment to it on each subsequent use.
No typing anything more than the first entry.
Game companies and CGI movie studios could have lost entire projects they've worked on for years if they didn't have a good save-ethic. It's obvious you're new to all of this because crashes are part of any 3D software. The question the industry professionals put to themselves is not whether a software package crashes or not, it's how often it crashes.
