Removing pixels

Hi, I do just now render an image and its right now over 3hours rendering.
but I still have one place in the middle of the image that loook like this:
So... will that dots be gone when I render longer or does they have a other reason? I had them already one time on an overall... at the beginning of the render all was fine, but after ~5minutes there did come more and more, like light points or something.
This is a leather/loin part, so it should not be glossy.

See attachment.
it got more... so like I saw it on my other scene, where it got more...
now are 2hours more over and it get more worse...
Edit: fixed it in Gimp... cuz it was just this little area.
I am having the same issue. Its infuriating. I have noticed that it happened more on biger scenes with more models and with sharp HDRI lighting. I would love to here what those of you who know about this stuff think and advise.
these are referred to as "fireflies". I am not really sure how to get rid of them other than with more light coverage in the scene or with more render time.
there is a post in this thread that says adding distant lights helped: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/172931/fireflies-are-increasing-in-renders
It really annoy me that a longer render destroy it more instead of "repairing" the image... I mean the images starts destroyed and get magical repaired to a clene photo... but these yellow things get more... -_-
Hmmm interesting, I would assume turning fireflights OFF would help, but there it sounds like turning it off will make the problem, but:
it is on.
So i could test the CPU/GPU thing maybe... if I see the thing again.
If it is just one area of the whole image, it is probably easier to fix it by using the spot renderer with the post denoiser turned on. Render to full screen and it is easy to align with the original image and replace the part with fireflies. I've had this before on the chrome parts of a motorbike and it was easier to rerender that section and combine with the full image.
I did try that one day, but the problem was, that this happen again, the longer I render, so the best way was for me to just repair it in Gimp with cloning/healing the area from a other area.
Everyone gets fireflies at some time or other, it has a number of cuases. You should do some reading about rendering. It's a huge subject. If you only have a few then you're doing well.
