How do I modify/remove super conforming on the breasts

kyryiakyryia Posts: 46

Hi,

There is a good reason why its hard to get my Female models dressed. Namely their breasts. When applying a piece of clothing the clothes conforms completely to the breast.

I know this is easily possible with dynamic clothing, but how can I change this behaviour with reqular clothes. It just looks so unrealistic.

Is it possible to exlude certain parts of the clothing mesh from becoming conforming?

Any help is highly appreciated, thanks

Ryan

It's part of what is seriously wrong with DS4, they used a **** auto generated morph system in it, the problem is that it transfers the exact morph shape into the conformer, leaving you with something that is little better than a 2nd skin texture, as the conformer will now have every curve and dimple the figures morph had.

There are paid for options in the store, there is also the "free" option and that is to use D-forms to reshape the conformer.

That's always a problem with auto-morph transfers. There is now a workaround, in the form of projection morphs which allow the maker to use a shape without the indents for transfer to clothing instead of the actual figure shape, or you can try applying a smoothing modifier. Even with its manifest drawbacks, it's better than no transfer system for unsupported morphs.

I only use automorphs as a base and modify them myself in an external program for a better look. The good points about auto fit to me is I "usally don't have to worry about poke through when I bend Genesis figures in "Daz Studio".

    Thanks for the answer,

what kind of paid options are there. I would not mind spending some money to fix the issue

    For Genesis 2 Female:
Clothing Breast Fixes For Genesis 2 Female

    And for Genesis:
    Clothing Cleavage Modifier
    Sickle Rigging and Morphing System

If you search the forums you will find a few threads discussing the relative merits of these. You should also bear in mind that during March Madness some, if not all of these, will probably be on Sale price.

@kyryia - you can come quite a long way with the D-former. It's included in daz, but admittingly it's a bit harder to use than the paid-for solutions. But I almost always use D-former to fix the 'breast-glue' :-)

Could you please explain how exactly you solve tis Problem? I cheated today, I loaded a Piece of clothing that's not so "glued on" and on top of that I loaded the Shirt I wanted. Then I changed the collision Settings to the first Piece and hided it. But it's not exactly the look I wanted. :-(

I own the Clothing Breast Fixes For Genesis 2 Female but's not doing what I want.

I created this freebie a while back for V4 to genesis clothing. Ive recently returned and wondered did anyone make one for genesis 2?

Yes, there is something, Clothing Breast Fixes For Genesis 2 Female. But I can't get it to work properly, most of the times it Looks weard on my renders.
Does your freebie work also with Genesis 2? Probably not, ha?

Zev0 is currently working on a G2F fix that works on top and bottom that looks promising:
