Installation Manager errors - help!

Hi.  I'm getting errors in the Installation Manager re a lot of things I'm trying to install, and I would appreciate someone clarifying for me what I need to do to make the process work properly.  I have about 7 pageloads of errors, but am attaching just the first of them.

Again, I would greatly appreciate an explanation of what I need to do to solve these problems.

    First page, yes.  Where it says "attach a file" at the bottom of the "leave a comment" field, I did so.  I don't see it looing at my original message, though.  Any idea why?  Again, help would be appreciated.

    I guess I should sign this "hatter_0cba87a97"

    Start with "Attach a file", then "Browse..." to the folder with the attachment to upload. Select the file and "Open". After it uploads, you should see a file icon above the "Post Comment" button.

    Okay.  Trying again to attach a file.  Here goes.  It's taking forever to upload, and that was NOT a large screengrab.  Ah, install error.  .bmp files not allowed.  I should've watched the process, and I would've seen that.  OK, I'll convert them to .jpg files and send the first one again.

    It worked.  Here it is.  Should I send the others, or will this suffice as an example for the rest?

    You're getting errors installing Bryce and Carrara content because the Installation Manager doesn't know where the Bryce and Carrara programs are installed. Do you have Bryce and Carrara installed, or are you only using DAZ|Studio?

    Remember that some things in the DAZ store aren't just DAZ|Studio content, they can include files for Bryce, Carrara, Vue and other 3D programs. The Installation Manager can be set to ignore them if you don't use these programs.

    Thanks.  I do have Bryce 7 Pro and Carrara 6 (I see that I'd better scrap the Triggerfish, which is for 7 * 8).  And now that you've told me that, I ran the installer and saw a place to enter paths for programs.  This looks like what I need to solve my problems.

    Thanks!  I'm very busy these days, and didn't stop to look at the installer panel.  My error.

    You can if you want, but... Carrara 8 Pro goes on sale for discounts ranging from large to ridiculously huge every now and then — I took advantage of one of these a while back to upgrade my old version. Pop it in your wishlist and keep an eye on the sale banners, you never know when it might turn up for something like the price of a typical DAZ character.

    Thanksfor the tip!  I guess I'll keep it in reserve, and watch out for sales.

    Well, I did manage to put the proper paths in, and it solved my problem, so thanks and I guess that's it for this thread.
