Gray patches on my actors

I was editing each person and then saving as i went and double checked all aspects of the scene before each save. then, all of a sudden all the actors had blank patches??

Now when i open all saved scenes they all have gray patches where the blank spots were. those were only there when i saved the very last scene. now all previous scenes have those same patches that were not there when saved. Nor were the blank patches that became gray.

I uninstalled Daz Studio but that didn't fix the problem.

A screen shot might help, with clothes of with the view adjusted for ToS-friendliness. It's hard to follow the description, but had you used the Geometry Editor to chnage the surface groups or similar?
