So I have 2 dforce items in my scene. One Classic Long Curly Hair with dForce and G8F wearing dForce Dianne Outfit in a sitting pose. Seperatly they work great, but together I get the colision explotion. I've tey a few techniques to get them working;
Using Animated (Use timeline Play Range) and addin the hair after the dress completes its sim. The hair still starts its sim a frame 1 even though I added it at frame 30. Not successful
I eve attempted Animated (Custom) I think this would work if the sim settings could be managed per object, but alas, no go.
I don't know if any one has tried this yet. I'm still trying a few other things but any advise (or just saying it's not going to work) would help.
Also I do intend on trying this with animation. A simple walk to start and I like to know other's experiences on dealing with this issue.
Thanks people and happy rendering.

Are you freezing the dress when you try simulating the hair? You can switch the simulation type to just the current frame and turn off Start From Memorised Pose in Simulation Settings if you want to start the hair with everything else in place. You might also want to increase some of the numbers under the Quality group, to give the simulation more time to spread the energy out (too much energy accumulating n one place is a possible cause of explosions).
I am not. I will give that a try.
As Richard says, try them separately; simulate items underneath others first.
Make sure when they start out that they are not intersecting anywhere; you may need to add substeps or improve the quality of the simulation to prevent meshes intersecting.
Thank folks, your advisment worked greatly. And I'll keep the things I didn't use inmind as well.
Unfinished below, but as you can see no collision issues.
Thanks again.
