New character JCMs and MCMs check

Hi there,

I made myself a new character face morph in Blender for G8. I plan to do some more tweaking in Daz as well with morph packs.

My problem is, I don't know how to check if my character needs any JCMs or MCMs. I understood recently that they might be needed sometimes for a character modeled outside daz itself but I am not sure how to determine what I need to do. MY plan for expressions to work properly was to use the auto-adjust rigging.

Also, Should I wait with the tweaking in Daz until I finish the JCM's and MCMs or should I do the tweaking first and do the JCMs and MCMs at the end?

I tried to find more information about this but all I could find was how to create them and a lot of examples for eyes not closing. 

My character is not so different from normal that it would be a problem.

  • Adjust Rigging to Shape will help with bones, though you may need to apply further maual adjustments, but ti won't help with morphs. All you can do is test, especially in the areas where you have made most radical changes, and see what is broken. You don't need to worry about compound expression (or other) slders, just the ones that directly chnage the shape or bone pose.

    Could you give me some examples, or a link to a list of what is to test?

    Until now I tested eyes open and closed, mouth open and closed.

    The changes are not major as the chracter is supposed to be modeled after Heidi Klum and is not extra different from the base G8F.
