HD Morph Detail in Zbrush

Hi all!

I'm new to the world of Daz, but I'm absolutely loving getting to know the software and the community! It's really inspiring to see some of the incredible stuff everyone here creates.

I've been happily using Zbrush to tailor my genesis 8 models to create custom morphs, and now want to move on to using some of my brushes to add HD detail. Thing is, I'm not really sure what the "rules" are with Daz figures when doing this (subdividing etc) and can't find any helpful tutorials on this specific topic.

Would any helpful soul out there be willing to share their workflow for adding HD detail to G8 modes using Zbrush brushes, or point me in the right direction of a tutorial on this subject?

Thanks so much in advance!

Lana

well to use it you either need to become a PA as only they can create HD morphs for DAZ studio

    or

use a geograft solution like this

    otherwise bake maps for displacement

Being able to make our morphs for G8's is really fun and amazing.

Word is though, HD detail beyond BaseMEsh is a DAZ PA (Published Artist) thing only.  Become a PA and you will have access to that toolset, though have not clearly seen the ruleset for it's use.  Seems the chief mod here mentionned in the last week that even PA's can use them only under certain conditions (think read that right real quick).

There is the option of making your own displacement maps, bump maps or normals, or you use geografts for area you want denser mesher.

Edit:  Wendy is quicker than me. cheeky

Thanks so much Wendy and Saxa! That's been really helpful and saved me from investing a lot of time in trying to create something that would never have worked.

I am interested in becoming a PA,  as you both suggest :) but I had presumed I'd probably be needing to produce HD in order to apply. Thanks so much again for setting me straight on that!
