Unable to Load a Non-Daz Shape From Content Library

Hope someone can help...very new to Daz...I purchased a figure (it's described as a female character preset shape) from another source. I imported it to the Content Library but can't get it to attach to the Gen 8 figure or any other figure. I double click and it flashes for a nano-second and then disappears. Also tried to manually drop it with no luck. I've purchased items from the Daz store and used with no problem. Any ideas? Thanks!

There isn't much information there, so this is a guess. When you installed, did you merge the Data (and Runtime, and probably at least one other folder - such as People) from the zip into your content directory (e.g. Documents/Daz 3D/Studio/My Library/? It's very easy, depending on how the zip is set up, to end up with an extra folder or two in the way - Documents/Daz 3D/Studio/My Library/Content/Data, perhaps - and that will stop DS from loading the morphs into the figure and from fnding the texture maps if those are included.
