HD Body Shapes for Genesis 8 Female Problem

I purchased the new product called HD Body Shapes for Genesis 8 Female which adds 5 new HD morph dials, but I can't get them to show up.  I first installed with Daz Connect and then tried a manual zip.  The product shows as installed, but it's only containing files in the /data folder and there are no library facing files to be found.  I don't see the morphs appearing for my G8F so I'm wondering if they are using different names than what the product page says (Athletic, Bold, Casual, Curvy & Slim) and I tried based on the file names under /data.

Am I doing something wrong?

  • Yes you're doing fine. Morph dials show up normally on the Shaping Panel, sometimes also on the Parameters Panel. Look under 'body' ... or type one of the 5 words in the search box ... something should appear.

  • Thanks for the help.  I looked under Parameters/Shaping/Hidden properties, and still nothing but then I thought there may be a problem loading the morphs and the Log reveals:

    My Daz Connect Library/data/cloud/1_63425/data/daz 3d/genesis 8/female/morphs/daz 3d/bodyshapes/fbmathletic_hdlv2.dsf (1,1): Syntax error - expected '{' or '['

Probably an issue with the product?  Should I file a bug report somewhere?

Also having this problem. Can we expect an update or refund soon for this non-functioning product?

Sorry, I missed this - it sounds like a fle that eithr failed to decrypt after download or possibly a file that is corrupt on the servers. Are the thumbnails for any presets readable? If not then I would suspect it's the decryption issue - you could, for now, uninstall the Connect version and install through DIM (or take the contents of the Content folder from DIM and place them in the /My Daz Connect Library/data/cloud/1_63425/ folder)

  • Hmm, I'd forgotten I'd purchased this set - my log show the same (which doesn't preclude its being  decryption issue) - all the fiels are unreadable. I just copied the Data and Runtime folders from the DIM Zip's Content folder into the /My Daz Connect Library/data/cloud/1_63425/ folder and it seems OK - no errors (for that set) in the log, the plain text metadata files are readable in a text editor.
