Store Suggestion: Sku# link to associated readme/wiki page.

Is it possible to get the sku# on product pages to link to their associated readme's on the wiki? Would make things easier/quicker to get to readmes.

Example: http://www.daz3d.com/futucar where it says sku: 17901, get that number to be a link to http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/17901/start

While we're asking for read me links - the product library would be another great place to add one. :)

I think having links to the product ReadMe files in the Product Library would be nice, but that only addresses products you already own.

I don't know about making the SKU a link, but I think there are plenty of places on a product's page in the store where a link to the ReadMe file would be great. That way we could check them out BEFORE we purchase an item.

I think it can easily be added to the "Notes" section of the default Additional Information tab under the main product promo.

If you write down the sku number and go to the wiki documentation and look up that sku you can see the readme without owning it. http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/start

Miss B: you could always (since the new storefront anyway) check the Readmes before buying.
What we would like are simple one-click-links instead of having to go to the Documentation Center
    http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php
    Click on Product Readme's
Click on a Category with the number of your sku
    (And those pages are sloooooooooooooooooooooow!)

Exactly, and doing all that is a pain in the butt if you're browsing on a mobile device.

Having a link to it from the product page is just plain easier, faster, and more user friendly.

    Agreed whole heartedly!

And while we're at it... it would be nice if the readme's were there when a product comes in the store. Not really motivating to go through the sloooooooooooooooooooooow ( ;-) ) path only to find out the readme isn't even there yet.
Come to think of it, maybe that's one of the reasons there is no link on the productpage.:bug:

    Love, Jeanne :)

    ~ROFLMAO~

It's so hard these days to know just by looking at an avatar or an alias/nickname, though I never thought Vaskania was a "he". I have been mistaken on several occasions, but not usually. ~hee, hee, hee~

It's also good for getting info on file locations. I don't keep installed readme files or sort my Runtime at all, and some of these products install to weird sub-directories. Finding them now is a matter of opening DIM, logging in, and finding the installed file list. This would be a much quicker option (given the time it takes for DIM to load up all 4500 of my installed products).

Miss B yeah it is really hard sometimes but I try not to assume until I know for sure.

canberra_boy yeah some folks have a weird sense of naming their products making it harder to find.
