Trouble with saving a character preset in DAZ Studio 4.6 and other problems.

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

First, please don't judge me. This is my first time using Daz Studio.

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble saving a character preset on DAZ studio.
I'm using a Macbook Pro and DAZ Studio 4.6.2.118 Pro Edition (64-bit).

I loaded some Krystal files from the internet and I added all the textures and so on but I'm having trouble loading the clothes. Here's what I have...

Does anyone here know how to import the clothes? I've tried importing them and it doesn't work.

This is the website where I'm getting the files : http://littledragon.francemi.net/starfox_01.htm

Whenever I try to save, I get this message:

"You must select a TriAx Weight Mapped figure in the scene to save a Character Preset."

How do I save the character preset? Please help me.

For older content you use the LAST set of Save As options... Its for none Weight mapped content...

The Content will all be Poser Format only and will need installed properly by hand into the DAZ Studio Rumtime folder (As the character should be as well, not imported). If you have done that step you use the Content Library Tab to open the Poser Formats section of your content to find the files. Read the Read Mes with the items to know which parts of the Poser section to look in for the items.
