3Dconnexion support

Daz Studio has 3Dconnexion support but it does not recognize my device

so it is not fully useable.

I have a wireless space mouse, it is not old or discontinued

so I am wondering when was the last time you updated the 3d mouse support ?

When the program does not recognize the newer products, it limits their functionality.

In my case, rotation and pan works, but zoom does not.

Can you check into updating the 3d mouse support ?

thxs

If you haven’t already, you should file a help ticket. The forums are not an official channel to reach Daz.

You just have to setup the shortcuts. The actual "daz drivers", have not worked for quite a while. Just create a custom Daz profile and edit it in the 3Dmouse settings for that program. Honestly, it hasn't "needed" special support since when they stopped supporting the drivers, which were for version 3.x, I believe.

EG, Don't select the default "Daz3D Profile", just use a normal profile for that program.

P.S. It may still seem to be "hyper-reactive", for some motions, even with the settings turned down. But it is functional, as far as mine goes. (I no longer use it. It was more of a burden to use, than a blessing.)

Daz doesn't make drivers, so I'm not sure what you mean here.

Drivers are fine, Daz supports 3Dconnexion mouse controllers but it does not recognize the newer versions.

I will see if I can make a custom profile

Generally, the support plug ins for hardware need to be periotically updated when new hardware comes out.

The new hardware might do 'extra' things and the program doesn't know what to do with it.
