Hello. So I'm super new to all this. I started using it a few days ago. I've got a character and hair (She looks a lot like me when I was young, go figure) but I can see a little bit of hair poking through her forehead. Can anyone help me. How do I fix this? I uploaded a picture. I hope you can see the detail I'm talking about. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You may be better moving your post over to the New User Help forum,  it is not really a tech question.  TO move your post click the Gear Icon at the Right/Top of the post, then click edit      On the next screen check to the left and change the category in the drop down list,  then click "Save Comment at the bottom

  • If you mean the line angling up towards the middle from her left brow I'm not sure that is actually a bit of hair as such. Is the figure moved away from its loading position? Sometime, in Iray, that can cause problems with - for example - the transparent skullcap showing up in places (though that's usually blockier than that). You might be able to use an expand morph with a negative value, if the hair has one, to tuck it in a bit more or you might simply move everything so the the fgure was on the origin. If it is hair another option is to apply a dForm to suck that area out of sight, though that would probably be easiest with a weight map.

  • Hooy boy, okay, I've got so much to learn. Thanks. I'll check into all this. and I'll move this post.

  • Another option which has worked for me thus far is to add a smoothing modifier if one doesn't already exist for the hair. If I recall correctly, you select the hair, then under Edit ---> Geometry ---> Add Smoothing Modifer.
