Setting New Default Render Settings

Is there a way to set the default render settings?
For example, I'm manually having to go in every time and change the Environment section and change the Ground Position Mode from Auto to Manual. It would be nice if it automaticaly came up as being set to Manual.
I know I can set a render preset, but that's still an added step of going to the preset and double-clicking it. I'd just like to have DAZ come up with all my render settings the way I use them most of the time.

You can save a scene with the desired set up and in Edit>Preferences (Daz Studio>Preferences on a Mac) use the Scene and Start Up tabs to tell DS to load that scene - or you can do the same with a Render Settings preset.
Ah, that will do the trick.
Thank you again!
I've noticed recently (with both 4.11 and 4.12 Beta) that my previously saved presets are not recognised correctly in the Render tab. I've had this beofre where DAZ Studio, for some reason, can't find the icons for these presets but I can't remember how to fix it. I don't believe that the icons have moved from their original location in the Content folder.
It's not just the icons that are missing (central !), the files themselves are missing (! at lower left). Either the fles have been moved or their content directory s no longer selected as a current content directory. What s the path to the actual files on disc, and what are your content directories?
They are still in the folders where DIM installed them. The odd thing is that a couple of them are recognised but the rest aren't (in this example). The screenshots are not big enough to show all my presets but there are many more where it shows a couple but not the rest of the files in the folder.
And that My Library folder is still set as a content directory?
Yes - all other content works just fine. As I said, I had a similar problem, specificaly with Render Presets, previously and somehow fixed it but I can't remember how.
Soory, I don't have any ideas.
No, me neither. It isn't a huge problem as I know where the files are so can find them in the content. Just my OCD wants them to be where they are supposed to be. :)
