If you hurried up with the other thing, that could have been cherry cobbler.

Uhhh....no......no...that's uhh....straw....berry......jam...seedless jam. Yeah. From the seedless strawberry leaves in the background.

And like Sevrin said, if we had the other thing, all that could be true!

Thank you so much for that, it means the world to me. I agonize over every little detail to the point that I sometimes think, "is anyone really noticing this?", so it's nice to know they do. :)

But if I hurry, it won't be as good...

    sum floorz is durty

I realized after posting that this was the seated, and not the floor pose thread.  It's fine.

I used one of the seated poses.  I ended up building the image around this pose.

For a list of products used you can find it here in my gallery.

That looks great, Kismet2012! Like an album cover from the house music store I used to frequent in San Francisco.

Thanks! This was one of those renders where I set up the lights and let it render to see what it looked like and it was like "oh crap yeah! That works!" haha

  • My turn to ask now. Thyranq, who's the character and hair? Looks pretty remarkable.

The pose is just the icing on an incredible cake. Stunning image from start to finish.

    Regards,

    Richard.

Thanks, Richard! Yours is pretty great, too! Love the little Christmas balls hanging down, gives it a nice soft festive touch, and that hair looks great (and I don't usually like the strand based hair, but you've done a great job with it)

The hair in my image is Monica Hair by WindField, but I flipped it on the x-axis. The character is Blue by Mousso in terms of texture, with a bit of LIE makeup. She's dial spun, though, so not a pre-made shape. I can post the exact dials if you like.

  • Thanks Thyranq. I rather expected that you'd do a fair bit of mixing characters, you've done some incredible things with Romina too. I had been vaguely wondering if it was mostly Anastasia, however it was idle curiosity, and not worth you taking the time to look. Thanks on the hair name. I have seen that one and dithered about it, however your image is far better than the promo images, to the point of almost seeming to be a different hair, and you've convinced me.

    Regards,

    Richard.

    Wow, thanks!

Don't ever hesitate to ask me anything - nothing to me isn't worth the time to look, I'll gladly help out wherever I can.

Actually the shape of her head came from Wolfie over on Rendo - one of his products used Blue mixed with...Alexandria 8 I think it was?? And the shape of the head looked great, so I copied that shape and used some different makeup, then I just fiddled around with some dials until I found a body shape that worked with it as well.

Monica hair is one of my favourites. Most of WindField's stuff is extremely realistic as far as 3D hair goes. This one has some posing limitations, but if it's something where the hair would mostly come straight down, it looks fantastic.
