How do I pin my character down? Inverse kinematics Problems.

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

I'm having trouble with animating my character. No matter what animation I do, the feet won't pin down.
I mean that every time my character walks the feet always point up.

Is there a way I can fix this? Please help.

I think you are talking about Animate.
    Try this: see pic
However, I also bended the toes and locked them, which is not necessary on most other figures

Hoe do you lock the toes?

Select lToe (and later rToe of course) go to Parameters Tab: hover your cursor to the position as in my image and click.
(I never had to do this with V4/M4 or Genesis)

If you are using Genesis figures in Animate you need this http://gofigure3d.com/Amm/Genesis-Offset.zip it is a Foot offset block you put on a figures sub track to fix the feet when using none genesis AinBlocks.

Here is Genesis With and Without the Block added....

How did you make Krystal's lips move? What program did you use to do that?

I did that with Mimic Pro.
Here in the store, type mimic
But check in your version of DAZ if it's there already in a lite or live version,
In the Help menu About Installed Plugins.
I don't know because I bought the product, and I'm still using DAZ Studio Pro 4.5.

Edit: it probably is called Lipsync

It is still in DS4.6 but ONLY the 32 bit versions support the free Lipsync. Both versions of DAZ Studio can be installed at one time. 32bit and 64bit, it's what I do.

By the way, do you ( or if anyone else here ) know if Krystal's tail fur dynamic will work on the latest poser program? I use a MAC, but will it work on poser pro?
