Export Daz House Cat fur to geometry or splines for rendering in another software

Hi, i'm trying to export the fur of the "Daz House Cat" from Daz Studio to an external software for rendering but i don't know how to do it.
I read that i need to enable the "Preview PR hair" in the viewport before exporting as a obj but it doesn't work. The cat model and textures are there but the fur is not present.
So is it possible to export the fur as splines or geometry ? BTW i would prefer to use FBX instead of obj for practical reasons.

Is the OBJ size different with the air hidden/shown? Are you sure you target application can handle two vertex polygons?
The rendering software is Marmoset Toolbag so there shouldn't be any problems. After posting this question i tried changing the line tesselation sides parameter from 1 ( default ) to 2 and now the fur shows up. The OBJ size with the new settings is 2 GB.
