Clothing Conversion weight map help needed...!!!
I remember the days when all you had to do to remove bends in an item of clothing was to untick a box but now just to confuse matters we have the bloody weight mapping!
Here's my problem...
I'm trying to convert some clothing items from M4 to G2M. Whilst the fit is very good on armour and similar items I find if gettign distorted.
Instead of the entire helmet bending I'm finding parts of the mesh being affected by the neck.
At first I thought this problem could be fixed by assigning the neck polygons to the head so I did that...
The result no change!
Now i learn you have to screw around with weight maps because it'ss these causing the distortions.
What I'd like to know...in plain english
Is there any way I can have al the polygons assigned to the head "bone" and only affected by the head movements.
This technique I should imagine would work with collars on pauldrons.
I've tried to do the tutorials but they seem to be geared at entirely new rigging...
Please help before my head implodes!!!

This may help, though I need to go through and see where it needs updating for 4.6 http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/10204/
