Dforce Magnet crashes

Hi,

I wanna use the Dforce magnet, but... it like to crash when I try to rotate the magnet.

 

This window like to crash the complete engine, it close the complete Dazstudio :( Now I tested it just with a raw object that worked, but on a person with clothes... it laggs and then crash.

 

 

for some reason at clothes it does not be where I made the point :(

I am also having this issue. I am using 4.12 (not beta), and when I try to adjust the dForceMagnet pane, Daz crashes (just closes completely with no warning). No freezing or "not responding", but just flat out boom, gone.

There has been a discussion of this in the main Commercial thread - it seems to be (a) intermittent, and (b) doesn't happen for everyone. RiverSoft Art hasn't been able to find out what the problem is exactly, but there are a few suggestions for avoiding. In this case, try clicking "Accept" on that create pop-up (don't move the sliders) then with the magnet selected use the parameters pane to move/rotate, etc. It worked OK for me this way.

If you bought the product in the last 30 days and are not happy with having to use a work-around, you could raise a Sales ticket to return the product.
