Opening a DAZ Studio Scene, in DAZ Studio
I've got this is one issue that keeps cropping up for me, and is really starting to annoy the S**** out of me...
Why is it that, even with the same products installed, (The exact same products), that DAZ Cannot figure out where the correct files are located for loading a scene?
Here are some easy steps to reproduce the problem I'm facing:
Create scene on Laptop (Which has content installed on, say, the default path - Even though I told the install manager to install on "F:\DAZ Content" (I'll leave that bit for another discussion some other day...))
Transfer scene to a network drive
Open scene on desktop (Which has content installed on... Ready for this?: "Q:\DAZ Content"
Okay, so now DAZ asks me to locate some texture files that I've used in the scene - which is all well and good, I locate them, click ok, and the scene starts loading.
Textures work fine, but all the morphs, and other items (Which ARE installed on the desktop computer), do not work, at all...
Is there any "easy" solution to this?

What format is the original content in - Poser, DAZ Studio 3 (.dsa, .daz) or DAZ Studio 4 (.dsf or .duf)? It sounds like a pathing problem, so it may help to see your Content Directory Manager settings for both systems (Edit>Preferences>Library tab).
Installed in which format? The most common way for this to happen is with content that was originally in Poser format, saved in a D|S scene in the first computer, especially if it was saved in D|S3 (glitches shouldn't happen, but are still possible, with D|S4). Yes, the same Poser files are installed in both machines, but the saved D|S scene file does not look at any of the Poser files when the scene is re-loaded in the second computer — all of the geometry and morphs files are now converted to D|S format and saved as D|S files in the /data/ folder in your D|S content location. The only way to have scenes loadable on both computers is to synchronise the /data/ folder in both computers' D|S content location.
Just remembered, there is another way to get this kind of glitch. Are you saving your scene files (any D|S version) into a folder in your Content Tab, or some other folder somewhere else, using File>Save from the menu? There are critical differences in the way data file paths are stored in the scene file — they don't bite unless you move the content location or load a scene that was saved on another computer.
