    my 1st mm render.

i wanted to render in carrara, but it wouldn't load aiko 5.

    all new stuff :)
    Funland with it's light set.
    Nyu forA5
    Nauticalle outfit
used some new know-how, watched the dreamlight tutorial on sale today about cameras.

 i guess this render isn't really absurd. tried to do the rule of thirds camera framing, the Funland is one piece, couldn't move the ice cream cones.

March Madness hits the Saxon Village as the pigs cause chaos whilst the people are preparing for a celebration. The guard finds watching the pigs more enthralling than scanning the horizon for unexpected visitors. Methinks Madness will certainly ensue if those Viking ships make land.

Pristine render grunged using free Filter Forge filters.

"An Exercise in Absurdity" to add for some more MM fun ;)

    - G2F, spin dialed
    - all items from DAZ store
    - rendered with zigrafix ToonyCam Pro
    - no postwork except composition with MM title
    - just a look-a-like, unfortunately not Mrs S. herself ^^

    LOL
Love it! That's pretty damn good for a hand-spun character.

Makes me wonder if we'll see some Genesis-dialled 'Simpsons' and 'South Park' products in the future... I remember there were some cell-shaded 'South Park' avatars which did the rounds in Second Life, a few years ago. Should be relatively easy to reproduce with today's technology.

Probably not as products. You run into copyright issues at that point.

Maybe characters loosely based on, or inspired by, but not direct duplicates.

Sorry, yes. That's what I meant. Something akin to the numerous 'Simpsonise Yourself' and 'South Park Doll-Maker' flash programmes, out there.

Although, technically, with the right combinations of clothing and body parts options, the user could always 'coincidentally' make one of the official characters, just as they can with those things.

Yes, a user could. They just wouldn't be able to use it in any commercial aspect.

Alessandro's new Kangaroo in the Amazing Vanishing Living Room™. "One Punch".

"...What sort of people live about here?'

`In THAT direction,' the Cat said, waving its right paw round, `lives a Hatter: and in THAT direction,' waving the other paw, `lives a March Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad.'

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.

`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here.' ..." - Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

Please be indulgent, as this is my first Daz studio render (and Gen2) ever, still struggling a lot with the interface, and the cameras, really different from Poser :)

used Felicity, Lady Florence hair, Prehistoric princess, morphs from Zev0.

The madness in this one is that the Viking ships in my last one went right past the Saxon village, but the pig who was the ringleader of those causing havoc got his comeuppance, as did the guy who was watching the pigs instead of watching for surprise visitors. He got co-opted to help roast the pig. :coolsmirk:

Figured I could share this one here too, is actually quite satisfied with how it came out :)

March Madness items used (as I doubt the render itself is consider madness enough ;P ) : Wet, Sweat & Rain for Genesis 2 Female (actually used on Both Olympia and M6), Primroses. These following items was bought from the stores that are on sale today : ValenTina Hair for Genesis 2 Female, Maximum Madness and Maximum Destruction.

Also using: Easy Enviroments Eternal Sands, easy Enviroments Oasis (the tent), City Ruins 03, Streetwear Jeans for Genesis, Basic Hair, Fantasy Weapons Collection 2, Cinco de Lime-O, Bad Guy (the gun), pillows from DMs Fantasy Bath, Sir Worthington, Patchwork Shoes 4 and lastly Makunouchi Bento. I don't think I have missed anything :)

    Anyhow, enjoy ^^

    Survivors - Stocking Up

It was that time that comes every now and then, time to stock up on the essentials to survive for a little bit longer in the harsh and unforgiving world. The survivors after the Apocalypse had all died out but their descendants thrived in this land. One of them was the man commonly called Poison due to his sharp, palegreen eyes that could glare almost anyone into submission. One of the few people his glare did not work on was his woman… then again, his eyes had been what first draw her to him and if he should be honest, he actually didn’t mind that she was immune to his glare.

Stocking up was fairly easy to do, they knew what they wanted and needed. Packing the car went fast with how well they worked together. Now they were simply treating themselves to some snacks and watching the other people, taking it easy before it was time to return to the road and the long drive to the place they called home….

Did this for another Thread but it fits the March Madness so...

    Title: The Magic Box

Jaderail got a little upset when his Magic Box crashed the third time doing his March render....
Used various 99 Props for Daz Studio and the Axe from the Battle Orc.
    Best when viewed full size.

Ferdibrand Goodkind by MEC4D wondering what Nursoda's Puntik wants to buy with such a little coin. It would be madness if he though he could get the whole book, but maybe if I read him a short story that will be enough..

Used one of Arah's Ambient lightsets but substituted AoA's Ambient for the Uber. Background by Jane Eden and grass from Flink.
