Mimic - at wit's end

I'm trying to get Mimic Pro to work with Genesis. But Genesis doesn't have a .cr2 file, and that's all that Mimic Pro will recognize. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I tried Mimic Lite and it puts a big DAZ banner on the file. I bought Mimic Live and it won't work with a recorded file - only with microphone input. I got Mimic Pro, and can't get it to work with anything other than characters that have .cr2 files. This is very frustrating. It seems like each way I go, there is some kind of trap to stop me from doing what I want to do.... simply make a Genesis character mouth a recorded file. I'm new at this, so there may be some small thing that I'm overlooking or simply can't find. Either way, it's driving me batty. Please help. Thanks in advance.

I simply use the Built into DAZ Studio version of Mimic lite that is ONLY in the 32 Bit version of DAZ Studio. It can be installed side by side with the 64 bit versions. Only the 32 bit version has it as the lipsync is 32 bit only.

I know in Carrara mimic pro - I use the dmc file from DS 32 bit .
