Just Diffuse Maps (iray)

I'd like to be able to select every item in my scene and apply a shader that removes everything but the diffuse maps. I looked but didn't find a product that would do that. Maybe there's a script somewhere? Thanks.

Just set up a material with no maps assigned, File>Save As>Shader Preset, uncheck Diffuse in the options dialogue (and if you want to leave the values alone use the dialogue's menu, the lined button half-way down on the right, to select Maps only). In future select the onject(s) and their surfae(s) and double-click the preset (or right-click on it and select Create Custom Action to add it to the Scripts menu for qucik access).
Thanks Richard. I tried that, but couldn't get it to work. I'll keep trying.
No matter what I try, I can't seem to make a shader that overrides all of the existing surface settings.
Are you just wanting to clear the maps? Are the surfaces using the same base shader?
What do you mean by clear the maps? The surfaces in the scene are all different. Thanks for helping me work this out.
Here's what's happening: I select everything in the scene tab; highlight everything in the surfaces tab; control-click a shader and keep diffuse maps; see below where there are question marks in the channels indicating there's more than one setting? The shader is working, but some of the surfaces act like they're locked.
I see, not sure what is going on there.

Ooo, really? I own it, but haven't had the occasion to use it yet. Thanks, I'll give it a try.
