Dforce rigid body sims

Is there a way to use Dforce to create a rigid body sim - like a chain llink - or a chain necklace? I understand how to do a rigid attach to dforce object but what if I want to sim  those objects as well? So they collide correctly and stay linked?

Thanks

I think it might be possibl but OMG it would be tedious and take forever to set up.

You'd need, I think, a link as a stand alone prop. The things mesh would need to be complete and basically the same quality as a dForce garment. You'd then need to load the link over and over again into a scene and interlink them manually and then run the sim. I don't think they could be rigged as individual bones of a single item or the like.

I'm certainly not willing to try it.

Check out the first post in this thread - I'm hoping this is in the works since we're almost 2 years into dForce now:

Daz 3D continues to enhance and improve Daz Studio with the introduction of dForce Physics. The first implementation will allow objects designated as cloth to simulate physical collision and interaction with other objects in the scene including a posed or animated figure. Other physics simulation types are expected to follow.

So there's no way to have a necklace or locket on a string do the right thing under gravity and collide appropriately with objects in th e scene?

a string necklace is no problem. There are some in the store. It's chains that would be a problem.

With Lockets or charms that collide correctly?

The one I have has a posable charm but the necklae is dForce.
