Genesis not working in DAZ Studio
Hi, I'm using Daz Studio Pro 4.6.2.118 on a Windows 7, 64 bit system.
I have a small solid state drive as my C drive, so programs (DAZ Studio and DAZ Install manager are in Program Files and Program Files (x86), respectively, and MyDAZ Library is in Docments on my D drive.
When try to load genesis (through Categories>Default>Figures>People>Male>Real World (same happens if I go under products and find genesis)
get Missing Files popup warning:
Some assets needed to load the file were missing. The content may not work as expected.
The following files could not be found:
/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base/Genesis.dsf
trying to load basic male gives same warning plus missing
/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base/Morphs/DAZ 3D Base/FBMBasicMale.dsf
Get similar message when I try to load genesis 2
Just tried loading m4 - get errors there as well - can't find file
D"/Users/Robert/Documents/MyDAZ 3D Library/Runtime/libraries/DAZ/Michael 4/hip/01-ps_mr627_Chnn;s.pz2 and countless others - eventually hit stop asking - runs for a while than can't locate Aged for M4 . . .
Hit stop asking again and eventually loads
Just installed the latest Daz Install Manager, and I had it reinstall Genesis Starter Kit - still getting same errors.
Thanks for any help.

Can you please post a screenshot of your Content Directory Manager.
DS is looking for the 'data' folder where the Genesis content was installed to, and it can't be found. You need to have the path to the library folder that 'holds' the data folder as a DAZ Studio Formats folder.
And are the files in D”/Users/Robert/Documents/MyDAZ 3D Library/ ? Is that set as the install path in DIM and the Poser and DAZ Studio Formats content directory in DS?
I've attached 3 pics and Log File.
Not sure what's going on. Thanks for your help in sorting it out.
(Also note that I have MyDAZ 3D Library listed twice in my documents library - I was told that's normal by some others on the forum after I first installed DIM -
First My DAZ 3D Library has 0 bytes, in C:\Users\Public\Documents
Second has many GB of my content D:\Users\Robert\Documents
Here's the log file and below that are the requested screen shots

You should NOT have two copies of My DAZ 3D Library, but that is another story.
The screenshot that I wanted was from Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager (inside DAZ Studio), but what you have posted will do for now,
You need to go to the Content Directory Manager, and make sure that the path D;/User/Robert ...., is listed as a DAZ Studio AND Poser Formats folder (not the one that starts C:/User/Public....) , otherwise DS will not be able to find your content.
Thanks! I think I let DIM install or update my DAZ installation a couple of days ago, and it must have reset the paths to some type of default (though it did incorporate my D: drive) - at any rate, I set those back to the correct paths as you instructed and Genesis male and female both loading properly now. Will do some more checking later.
Thanks for the help.
(and should I simply delete that empty, extra My DAZ 3D Library or should I just ignore and leave it) - think I may have started to install into C: the very first time, so perhaps it got created at that point.
Yes, I would delete it, is serves no useful purpose and it is empty anyway, and it may confuse the issue later on.
Just remember to check that DIM is installing to the folder that you want it to use, before installing anything.
Will do. Thanks again for the speedy assistance.
