Altering artwork

Hi,

Apologies if this has been asked before.

I have room environments that have pictures on the walls. These pictures are separate .duf files.

How can I change the artwork contained therein to put my own pictures on the walls? Presumably I need to convert a  picture (png of Jpg) to .duf and overwrite the original. How is that done?

Thank you

Christine

Just select the surface in the surfaces tab and then browse to where the texture is. Then load it in your image editor software and create a new layer and make your edits.
  • Thanks for the quick reply.

Sorry, you'll have to spell it out for me. Ok, I've found the existing artwork in the surfaces tab - under 'base colour'. Clicking on that brings up a massive grey box with all the jpg files in my library.

How do I load this into my image editor, I'm not sure where the file is stored.

  • It's OK, the penny has dropped!

In that big grey box, I use'browse', to where the image I want is stored.

    Thank you for your help.

Of course, be careful not to overwrite the original texture.
