Need help with manually installing things

I am new to Daz so I am not 100% sure what I am doing but I am having issues when installing some content from the internet. In order to keep things organised I am trying my best to keep things in their own folders which seems to work. The problem is that I can't seem to get things to work that don't have as many files (like data files), even if the files go straight into their respective folders and not into more organised ones, for instance one that I am trying to get to work only has a runtime and templates folder but no matter what I do I cant seem to get it to work. Any help would be much appreciated.

    The Data and Runtem folders need to go in te root of a content drectory - such as /Documents/Daz 3D/Studio/My Library/ - rather than a sub folder. If you can see those folders in the Content Library pane under Daz Studio Formats then they are not installed correctly.

    If you have something with only a Runtime folder it's probably in Poser format, it may well open in DS but you will need to look in Poser Formats>Content Library?, in the Library category for the files (look at the folders in /Runtime/Libraries/ in the zip - Characters is going to show as Figures in DS).

    The Templates folder is a set of guides for creatng new textures, not something that is sued directly in DS
