I recently purchased this outfit mainly for the pleated skirt on the promo page:
I'm pretty new to Daz and having trouble figuring how what to do, what settings need tweeking to get it to look like that. I didn't see a help file in the manual download but likely am missing something obvious due to not knowing where to look. Anyone have this or any idea what to do to get those pleats and folds to look natural? Tried just mashing 'simulate' but that got me no where

Best for natural fold making is by using the animation timeline.
At frame 0 put in her one pose, and then by frame 5 or 10 or 20 (depending how much movement there is - more movement - more frames) she reaches the pose you wanted.
dforce will collide away each frame with the body while body is moving with the waist cinch.
Leave maybe 5-10 frames after you reach your pose for the dress to settle with dforce.
May seem a bit crazy to have to do animation but that movement makes all the difference.
Have fun.![smiley smiley](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)
@Saxa- thank you for your help :) I'm still new enough that I had to hunt down where to find those settings and in the process found the help file under a tab I never look at. Apparently the fix animates it (maybe similarly to what you suggested) but the script did it automatically (thankfully!) and now I have lovely pleats and a more natural looking form. Thanks again for your help. I hope in a couple months I will have a better understanding of animating. Btw I really like your avatar.
Hey your avatar changed! Nice One! Likey!![smiley smiley](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)
