I bought this, but it comes with virtually no instructions...I am trying to apply old V4 textures using the V4 uv but nothing works...does anyone know the step by step for this product? It says all texutres must have duf format, but how do I tell that?

It also says I am to say the textures in duf format...I just did a search for duf files in ALL my poser files and I got zero...how do I convert textures to duf format?

Two ways to do this. (Well, maybe more, but 2 that I know about)

Method 1: If you have the V4 figure (i.e. Victoria 4.2) load her, apply the texture set you have, then save as a materials preset - this will create a .duf file which you can load onto G2F. (It should get saved in the "Presets" folder of your content library - you can change the location as you save if you have somewhere else you want to put it - if you are converting a lot of textures you may want to setup subfolders so you can find things easily in future)

Method 2: Load Genesis (i.e. Genesis 1) and apply the V4 texture to that. Save as a materials preset as above.

The diference is that the original V4 figure has an extra eye surface material zone, as does G2F, so the .duf created from original V4 will be "complete" i.e. include this material zone. Genesis (1) lacked this so the .duf saved will not include this. I think this zone is largely used for reflections, so you may not notice/care if it is not saved.

There are some instructions and more information in the official thread. But basically it's what MelanieL said. :)
