For some reason when i save a pose in Daz3D it shifts the position of the model?

this is an entirely different problem from my other threads just to be clear. it has nothing to do with that anymore.
I'm using the LayLo pose library add on for Daz and Maya and am running into a problem that i assume is happening by something wrong i did again in Daz as opposed to Maya. When I save a custom pose to the library in Daz and i activate the pose library in Maya and select that custome pose i saved in Daz my chaarcter drops beneath the ground. i know it sounds similar but it isn't even the same character now, it is the male character and his pivot point, location, and everything else is all default. if i use any other pose in the pose library such as ones i purchased from the Daz store this does not happen. the ony pose that creates this problem is my custom one i saved in Daz. When i load it in Daz, it's fine. when i load it in Maya he moves position. This simply doesn't happen with any other pose although they all come from Daz anyway. i assume i am doing something wrong when i save my pose to the library.
also of note when i apply the pose in Maya although the figure drops, his pivot point remains at ground level which is preventing me from just moving him back to the default position.
I'm pretty confused as to why this is happening? thank you for any thoughts.

Can't answer you specifically as Maya is not part of workflow at present for me. Not sure how many Maya users there are in tech forum either. So here's a more general answer.
Check the x,y,z for character node, hip, and the children going up the abdomen and down the pelvis for (1) pre-save and (2) apply your saved pose to the figure and check all the same.
Make sure there is no rotation on x,z anywhere (y is fine). If you have them, then that means poses are not "properly" made for best usage.
If they are identical, then it's possible that LayLo has some extra adjustment included in this presets.
You can unzip the duf and look in notepad++ (or other text editor) to see. Not sure what file format the maya file is in though.
Maybe a Maya person will stop by and give you more specific advice. You may also want to start now and shoot a Daz support a help ticket asking for help with this. THey can either help or get a hold of vendor as this is getting into Maya support territory.
EDIT/Correction. oops about this sentence: Make sure there is no rotation on x,z anywhere (y is fine)
Rotations on main character figure node for that is bad. Can't remember at moment if hip was bad too. Children past the hip are ok.
okay so i did check off some of the settings for rotation and all of that when i saved my pose and it kept it from dropping below the ground. the issue i'm facing now unfortuantely might not be able to be answered here because it might have to do with the LayLo plug in more than anything but i'm not sure. basically, although i'm exporting the basic A pose from Daz as a custom pose, when i load that up with Maya/Laylo the pose just isn't the same. the limbs are slightly different. bent further outward than in daz. which is wierd because if i export the model in the A pose and import into Maya via the Maya import feature it's all perfect. but if i import it in t pose and then apply the custom a pose from daz it's a little bitdifferent for some reason.
basically the entire point is i'm trying to allign clothes in maya that came from Marvelous Designer in the A pose but the Genesis to Maya plug in only supports the T pose so when you upload the Daz model in Maya like that it doesn't line up correctly because the clothes are in A pose.
my solution was to save a custom A pose out from Daz that i could apply to the ik rig's T pose with the LayLo library plug in so althought G to Maya plug in only supported t pose, so long as i simply apply the custom A pose i saved everything would allign correctly.
unfortunately that's when i notice the problem that the A pose is off from what it was when it was in daz. it's only slightly and it's strange. if i apply that same custom pose i saved in Daz, everything is fine there it looks just as it should. it's like the pose is somehow getting corrupted or is off somehow once it is in Maya. it doesn't make ny sense as far as my knowledge of Maya goes and all of the other poses except for my custom one work fine so i don't quite understand it.
if I was in your place, would look at the arm nodes all the way to the hands. below is a screenshot showing them for L & R.
start with poses that work the same in Maya as they do in Daz. Compare node for node. Note how twist, bend, & front-back are handled in terms of values in DAZ vs MAya, especially for the 2 twist bones which are more a Daz bone thingy.
then check the pose that is not working. My guess is you will find something is not translating, or that Laylo had to manually adjust them. But that's just a guess.
