unable to use installed items

I am trying to reinstall stuff after having a failed hard drive and updating to windows 10.This problem is happening with quite a few different items so the following is the same for all items IM haveing problems with so for example I have the following:-

• Working Man for M4
• Working Man M4 Unimesh Fits
• Before and After Work for Working Man
• Denim for Working Man
• using DIM they claim to install but a search dosnt find them
• looking in the available products they are listed but there is no icon to click on to load them. I have tried manual instal as well with the same effect uninstalled and tried again still the sameI have exactly the same problem with some other items for example
• Farm Gear any idea why this should be?

this shows the icon for working man in colour so should be installed and DIM says it is but there is nothing to click on and it will not load

Please post screen shots of the Install Manager paths (gear icon at topright, Instalaltion tab) and the DS Content Directory Manager (Edit>Preferences, go to the Content tab, click the Content Directory Manager button, and expand to show the paths under the current set).

That looks OK on the Install Manager content directories - you shouldn't usually have the 64 bit applications path pointing to a sub-folder like that, and you appear to have at least some nested content directories in the Poser Formats list which is potential hazard but not relevant to installing content through DIM.

Actually I think the little box at top-right means not installed - it would be at lower-right if the product was installed according to the database.

Can you find files if you go to Daz Studio Formats>My Library?

Im not certain where you want me to look I can not see Daz studio formats my library

also I have other ones that are grey and say double click to install but nothing happens also right clicking and clicking install does nothing either

Scroll up to the top of the list of containers on the left in your screen shot here https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/5296771/#Comment_5296771 and you shoudl see an entry for Daz Studio Formats, then under that it may have a Daz Connect container (if you've installed anything through that), then your My Library folder.

Ive put the files in manually where they all belong and eventually DAZ finds them when I search but it would appear NOTHING will install correctly either with DIM or by double clicking on anything in theproduct tabs there is an option to install but nothing happens and it still shows as not installed DIM says the items are installed but again they dont show as such in the product list in side DAZ studio

But are the files for the things you instal with DIM in the Daz Studio Formats tree? I suspect there's an issue with PostgreSQL or with your database, but that won't stop the files installed via DIM from being found under Daz Studio Formats.

To be honest ive really no idear whats going on

previously I was using DAZ 4.9 on windows 7 proffesional and now using DAZ studio 4.12 and windows 10 proffesional and its beset by problems
