    hi um ive only been on this thing for some days and i still cant figure out how to make a cahacter any ideas

    How far have you got? Have you installed the free content (the various Starter Essentials, plus the Default Resources)? Can you see the content in the various content panes? Have you tried working through the Interactive lessons (from the Daz Studio Home page, which should open when you start Daz Studio - if not it can be accessed through the Help menu)?

    At base level you will need morphs to change the shape of your figure. i suggest the default G8 head and body morphs in the store. Once you have those installed, select the figure and in the parameters tab go to ACTOR and open the body or head section you want and there will be a list of morphs. Play with these to change the shape of the various parts of the head and body. When you have a look you like, then save it as a shaping preset.
