Faster way to categorize assets?

I use custom categories for all my assets. Characters, Clothing, Hair etc.
Within those are subcategories like Clothing > Male > G8 > Outfits or Footware

Trying to categorize a full outfit into Footware, Pants, Shirts etc takes forever when using the "Categorize" context menu for each outfit component since I first have to navigate to the appropriate subcategory.

Is there a faster way to do this? Adding them straight to the Categories database, or drag-and-drop maybe?

Thanks!

Figured it out.

    Sure.
I finally realized that you can drag & drop assets from the Content Library pane into categories that are visible in the Smart Content pane.
You have to give it a content type doing so, but you can delete that using the Content DB editor.
