A Way to Smoothen a Portion of a Figure with Morphs?

I've added morphs to a figure. There's too much of a transition from the torso to the hip area. I've tried different things. Is there to smoothen just a small portion of a figure?

    Any Image?

If you had the Shape Splitter product, you could select the vertices and create a new morphs by selecting the morph you wish to decrease and apply the negative value and adjust to the level you wish to eliminate. If it is the combination of several morphs, you would have to create a new morph with SpawnMorph and do the step described above.
If you don't have the tool, you would create a D-former, change the influence to D-Former_1_Field to WeightMap, and you would have to paint the smoothing area. You would export the OBJ figure, and import it with MorphLoader and this will create a morph, apply negative values and this should neutralize the other morphs.

  • No, the Smoothing Modifier is global. You'd need to use an external modelling application instead.
