G8 Dain Chest Hair?

Am I missing something?

I have just bought Dain 8. I have attached the dForce Dain 8 Chest Hair & selected the hair colour but, when I select 'NVIDIA Iray' view, the chest hair does not appear!

Is this a glitch or am I missing something?

PS I have done a quick render & that chest hair is there in the render so it is just in the 'NVIDIA Iray' view that the hair is 'missing'!

    It's not a glitch. It's just a part of how dforce hair works that isn't at all obvious.

     Dforce hair doesn't automatically show in the viewport or preview render. Try selecting the hair in the scene tab, then look in the Parameters tab for Preview PR Hairs and change it to 'on.' There's also a setting called Line Tesselation that's probably set to 0. Try changing it to 2 or 3. That makes it show in the viewport and Iray preview for me, but having the hair show like that slows the responsiveness of DS a lot with some dforce hair props. That might depend on your computer, though.

    I set the German Shepherd dForce hair tesselation to 1 because higher numbers take away vieport resources from other things DS tries to draw having opacity & such.
