All of my figures load in grey

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Ha so ive been a user for a short time now and thought i had most of this worked out but today when i loaded in a new figure she was grey. So i applied a mat and still got nothing. Even when i load a ready to render scene everything is still grey. When i render the scene anyway everything is in color like it should be so i guess i did something, maybe something i clicked or changed and didnt realize it. any infor is appreciated thanks guys

    You are probably in Smooth Shaded preview mode (easy to do as the preview modes have cmd/ctrl + a number shortcuts). Cmd(Mac)/ctrl(Win) will switch back to Texture Shaded, or click the sphere icon next to the camera/view picker button at top-right of the Viewport to get the list of preview modes.

    You may have changed the viewport style to smooth shaded.
