ERC freeze crashes DS when changing rigging [resolved]

So, I have a morph for Genesis 2 which causes some rig changes to the figure. No problem, I can re-rig it and set it up to work with the changes, right? Wrong. While I can alter the rig and load the ERC freeze utility, the moment I try to apply those changes to a control property it will crash Daz Studio.
In this particular instance, I'm trying to apply the rig changes to the morph control property itself. Has anyone hit similar hurdles, and if so were you able to find a way to retain the changes? Having to re-rig the figure every time is becoming a chore and so far it has crashed on every attempt.

Which version? There was a bug like this, but it was fixed in an update.
Yeah, seems I was using 1 slightly older version (4.6.2.117). I recently had to update to use the new measurements plugin and have since been able to save my ERC's perfectly fine. There is however, one minor catch...
It seems to have doubled up somehow and gives me a duplicates warning when loading Genesis 2. The ERC works fine otherwise and changes the rig perfectly, but is there an easy way to remove the duplicates from the dsf file?
Not that I've found. When I accidentally caused this error myself (by doing an ERC freeze twice, usually) I had to delete the morph from the data folders, reload, readjust and refreeze it. Usually it doesn't take that long, but if there's an easier way I wouldn't mind knowing. ;)

Umm...me three?
I went and manually removed the duplicates from the dsf file. Seems to work fine now and doesn't give me any errors on loading G2F. The rig works great with Genesis poses of all type, and I'm looking forward to putting it to good use. The real challenge comes later when I have to try putting all of this knowledge together. Since there seems to be a lack of good kids characters and items, I've taken it upon myself to create some.
Clone figures, morphs and outfits are all part of one big whole, and it's been a great learning process so far. Just don't ask me for an ETA. There are still plenty of quirks I have yet to figure out!
