One simple fix in one of my morph files brought my load time down from like 12 mins to two mins. Ugh I can't find the thread I found that solution in :( I hope someone else remembers, it is one error that had a expression dial name that was wrong or something like that causing it to happen.
Thanks TheKD.
Does anyone know what that remedy is?
Hi. first you should check your log and see if there are some errors about some files while loading the figure. Could be that Daz is trying lo load something corrupted and it enters in a limited loop until it lets it go.
If there are no errors in your log file, then mostly it's just that you have a big gene-pool for your figure. In that case, maybe you could think about setting a secondary ssd disk for a secondary content library with just the basics of what you need and install things on the way as you need them.
A deviation of previous option, is that once you spent those 10 minutes loading a figure and are satisfied about its design, you can use a script like the one called
Daz3D Scene assets extractor v1.0
which you can find in cgshare, and export all the file used in your scene to a folder, which later you can load in a secondary Content library from then on and thus expending less time while charging the whole scene.
Greetings.
