...hmm I thought Boudicca was queen of the British Iceni tribe.

....a pirate? Well she was kind of a scourge to the Romans who invaded Britannia, but a pirate? Someone at Daz needs to get their historical facts in order.

That is her namesake but I named her as she is a figure I created, not DAZ. :)

.Earlier she was Queen of Tiki Beach in a previous pic/thread.

many a name from the past reused in history by a person named after their forebearers.
    cool idea for a render.
not sure how many will be putting that one on their next childs birth cetificate though.

If I remember my history correctly, the original Boudicca kicked Roman posterior all round Britain so it would seem the perfect name for a posterior-kicking Amazon character.

Sheesh! Talk about a social climber! From Queen of a beach to the Starry Skies? Not even a job first in regional government! ;-)

She's pretty beefy/masculine looking, no wonder she's moving up the ranks, probably from kicking butt and taking names, LOL.

    ...thanks for the info.

Not been browsing the Daz store for a while as too broke to buy anything so my first thought she was a new character release.

    Yes, hmmm ....

    Hair, good.
    Figure, great.
    Face ... too masculine.
Arms a little ? but plausible.

    Outfit A++++

Figure like that, with fixed up lipstick etc., no need gun .... [okay, maybe I watched too much James Bond ... but anyhow ...]

My apologies. I honestly didn't see that as a critique of the picture. Just a statement of how different you were from the figure, is all.

    No apology necessary ;-)

We all have different ways of critiquing figures.

How men look at women is not the same as how women look at women and vice versa for how men look at men and women look at men.
[irregardless of preferences, no going there]

Boudicca being a historic figure, and what is called baby fine straight hair being a trait of said European areas ... which I happened to have inherited ... it was a little of both.

Women have a competition thing ... as a woman, walking around the men's toy store [aka Canadian Tire] wearing no makeup makes for nothing remarkable to happen. Men may or not "notice" one. BUT same woman walking around same store "all done up" may or not be noticed by the men [esp if wives are around] BUT the other unattached women 'if looks could kill" ... they are hunting. Look out ...
