I have my render on one of my screens as a backdrop, and I just looked at the grass carefully. It looks like what you might find in a wild area that is not grazed by animals often, or burned by wildfires. Somewhat like a tall seagrass. There is movement visible, so the grass is not straight up and down. It also seems it would be great for a 'stalking' render of an animal at ground level.

I really wanted to buy this.  The timing of the release was not grand for me personally.  I had already spent the months 3d allotment.  It is definite to buy next time around.

While I find your pricing more than fair... a bargain really.  Prices, in general, have gone up way beyond my means.  Where I used to buy 4 or 5 things a month.  I now buy one or two and wait a lot longer for the inevitable DAZ discounts.  It sucks.  But such is life and money.  Not much you or I can do about that.

One thing I would have loved to have seen was some basic movement.  A turning head.  Some hand adjustments and such.  Even small variations would let me get some different kinds of images from the set-up.  Tell a story with the hands and such.  Nothing major mind you, just more control over what was there.  :)

Either way, I love your work.

My AntMan collection is vast and worth every penny.

Sorry to hear this didn't do as well as hoped or needed. :(

Ippotamus no worries, and thanks. Good input and in line with the other folks. I was seeing the robot as purely a backdrop to whatever character someone used. But when you have a figure as a back ground piece it’s more than say a rock or tree.

On prices, yeah I hear you. It’s hard because the sets at Daz have so much more going on than ones at other sites, I mean the whole team of PAs. And not just the details but the multipurpose use and amount of props included as well. But even with that said some times it stings. If I need it for work I don’t think twice! I wish we were selling in the Asian digital market place, but it is a complicated situation and they do not let many Western companies do business there.

It would boost sales and take some pressure off of the PAs doing this work full-time.

  • I picked this up this weekend.

It took me a while to find a proper context.

I think this one had a bit of a limited scope. It's a hillside with a broken Golem.

It's good for a standalone hillside too.

I was going to suggest that it'd be great if the fully assembled/pose able golem was the main product//character and the broken version was an included prop(s), which would work in a wider, story-telling effort.

My brain was tickled and I searched and found a close-enough stone-golem figure- from your catalog.

So I can get a pretty close narrative of the Golem before and after battle(s).

Just maybe, that other older product could have been featured to show a connection.

    -

That or expand the product concept with lots of broken parts as if there was a battle between a bunch of behemoths.

Would love to see you make, almost a family of figures, but you do seem to like One-Offs.

Something like that old comic BattleChaser.

The stone robot golem is a pretty popular character idea, so, it should have had some traction as a figure.

HUMAN-sized battle-golems...And also ...what's that game......Colossus. Shadow of the Colossus where you kill these HUGE....well, yeah.

Would love to see your skills go in that direction....

Might bring us closer to Kaiju themes....

    ----------------

I used you Wall product this weekend and I can't figure out how you do such large pieces that are so low on resources but look good.

That's a product that I'd like to see some city-based expansion(s). THAT EXACT STYLE, but more parts. GREEBLES.

More structures. Other types of buildings.

And some Scene or Environment presets with large sections already together.

I would love more of the grass.  I have not picked this product up but always like good grass options.  I hate the look of painted grass on a plane.  I prefer it looking like real grass.
